Sitting in the garden...................

I decided to spend a few hours on a weekend afternoon capturing photos of the large variety of birds that frequent my garden.

We are very lucky to have a lot of established trees. Bird feeders and a water feature become a bird hot spot.

I set up the tripod and settled in a garden chair to capture the action.

The variety of birds amazed me. I don't pay enough attention to the birdlife close around me.

Although no new species were captured, I managed to take photographs of birds that have not previously been captured.
